# Browser and Printing Scale Settings

To print checks with Charted On Premise Check Printing, the checks need to be printed at 100% scale.

### Preferred method – Browser Printing – Permanent Solution

Regardless of browser, there are two basic steps to take:

1. Set up the Browser Scale to 100%
2. Assign it to your print job

#### Google Chrome Instructions

1. Set up the zoom level to 100% for all web pages in Google Chrome:

* Open Chrome
* Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner
* Click **Settings**
* Scroll to the **Appearance** section
* Click the **Page Zoom** drop-down menu
* Set the page zoom to 100%

2. &#x20;Assign it to your print job by selecting “default” for scale under printer “More setting” options

#### Microsoft Edge Instructions

1. Set up the zoom level to 100% for all web pages in Microsoft Edge:

* Go to **Settings and more** > **Settings** > **Accessibility**.
* Select the **100% Zoom** from the drop-down menu under **Page zoom**.
* Easily manage zoom levels for specific sites by selecting **Zoom levels**.

&#x20;2\. Assign it to your print job by selecting “Actual” for scale under printer “More setting” options

#### FireFox Instructions

1. Set up the zoom level to 100% for all web pages in FireFox

* Click the **Page** button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
* Hover over the word **Zoom**.
* Click the percentage indicating how much bigger you would like the page to be.
* Select **100%** to set the text back to normal size.

1. Click on the printer Icon
2. Expand the “More setting” option
3. Select Custom
4. Set it to 100
