# Accessing Invoice AI Rules

### Abstract <a href="#m469cc7h3001" id="m469cc7h3001"></a>

*Invoice AI Rules* allow administrators to define “if-this-then-that” logic to refine how scanned vendor invoices are processed in *NetSuite*. Unlike general AI directions — which act more as prompts to the AI model — *AI Rules* apply structured logic after the scanning phase. This functionality is particularly useful for organizations with specific invoice handling requirements, such as routing based on vendor name or line item values. By configuring *AI Rules*, administrators can standardize invoice interpretation, reduce manual adjustments, and support consistent automation outcomes.

This article explains how to access the *Invoice AI Rules* section in **Charted** within *NetSuite*.
